Launch Activity Monitor
Launch the Activity Monitor application which is in your /Applications/Utilities folder.
Activity Monitor (All Processes)
1) Click the CPU tab.
2) Type Cinch in the search field.
3) Select Cinch from the results.
4) Click the Stop icon.
Activity Monitor
Click Quit. If Cinch doesn't quit after a few seconds, or you see Cinch listed in red text with (not responding) next to it, then you may need to do the steps again and choose "Force Quit" instead.
